Not much precipitation falls here at Saleratus Reservoir; most of the rain falls during March, and June meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Elk Campground is a good campground nearby, and don't leave Saleratus Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Great Western Trail. Saleratus Reservoir is a       delightful location to visit for more than one day, Zedds Campground is a delightful location to camp nearby, and a lake nearby is Mud Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Saleratus Reservoir; Oak Belt Trail is a tremendous local trail, and if you get bored of Saleratus Reservoir you could also check out close by Acord Lakes. Throughout the summer months here at Saleratus Reservoir, high temperatures usually reach the 90's. Through the moonlight hours                  it's usually in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Saleratus Reservoir.
