Go to Salamander Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. You get a magnificent sight of Bald Mountain from Salamander Lake; there's whitewater on Spanish Fork for all you adrenaline people. Salamander Lake is right by the Willow Trail, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Payson is a splendid choice. Salamander Lake is not far at all from Provo-Orem; not far from Salamander Lake you'll hit upon Red Lake which is a charming lake. Throughout the warm months,

| | highs commonly are in the 90's at Salamander Lake, and the nighttime is slightly chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while Salamander Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. The Nebo Peak Trail offers hiking at its best. Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious nearby hotel is Best Western Paradise Inn Of Nephi, and Nebo Bench is an interesting location to take a look at while at Salamander Lake. A fine spot to camp here at Salamander Lake
is Maple Bench Campground; there's magnificent hiking along the Nebo Basin Trail. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. Salamander Lake is near Bellows Hollow which is undeniably worth stopping at. Lakes?
Sure, Lizard Lake is in the vicinity. Salamander Lake is pretty dehydrated usually; the month with most of the rain is April, and the driest month of the year is January.
