Summer at Round Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. Highs through the winter are commonly in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Round Lake. Oak Creek Campground is a fine campground nearby; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Fremont River. While you're here at Round       Lake you can take a hike along the Stair Trail, and Round Lake is a pleasant place to visit for more than one day, Pleasant Creek Campground is a pleasant place to camp nearby. Having a pleasant time at Round Lake is uncomplicated. Dry warm beds await you at Torrey-Days Inn Capitol Reef N.P.; Bowery Flat is a fine place here at Round Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from Round Lake to distinguish the water at Oak Creek Dam, and why                  not a little side journey to Behanin Creek. Browns Point is close to Round Lake and is a tremendous site to have a look at, and if you need a site to stay Best Western Capitol Reef Resort is a glorious choice. Not much precipitation falls here at Round Lake; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
