This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Rocky Ridge Reservoir you can take a hike along the Bloomington Lake Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Cooks Pond. For the period of the summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Rocky Ridge Reservoir, and the overnight is a bit cooler of course, typically in the 40's. 30's, and nighttime lows at Rocky Ridge Reservoir throughout the wintertime commonly sink into the 10's. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Beaver Mountain.
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites LOGAN is a tremendous spot to get some
rest, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Logan here. This lake is so wonderful. Nebo Creek is close to Rocky Ridge Reservoir and is always a bliss to visit; Rocky Ridge Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, High Creek
Campground is a good local campground. Rocky Ridge Reservoir is a location that is reasonably dry regularly; the month with most of the rain is May; the driest of the months is August.

...ake Trail and Bloomington Lake is up Bloomington Canyon on the West Side of the Bear Lake Valley. The canyon road is accessed off of Highway 89 in the community of Bloomington. It is approximately 11 miles to the top of the canyon and parking area. The road is dirt and gravel and suitable for most passenger cars. It is a short trail to the lake where you will be rewarded with a beautiful high mountain lake with high surrounding cliffs.
There are many trails the lead off from the canyon and connect to other surrounding canyons. One of the more notable trails is the Highline Trail. This is an approximate 60 mile trail that runs north and south along the ridge line of the mountains. The trail can be accessed at many point including the top of Bloomington Canyon. At the parking area the road continues a bit futher west and the road turns into a trail that leads up to the ridge.
