A brilliant nearby hotel is Marianna Inn Motel, and close by you find the Skyline National Recreation Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. Nearby lakes? Sure, Corral Flat Reservoir is in close proximity to Rocky Ford Reservoir. Not much rainfall falls here at Rocky Ford Reservoir;       throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You can never get enough of the delightful skiing at Elk Meadows, and it's a good idea to go to Rocky Ford Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Fats Country Cafe; on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Rocky Ford Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Circleville RV Park and Store is a wonderful                  place to camp, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Burnt Hollow Trail. The warmest time of the year at Rocky Ford Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's.
