Why not camp at Barker Reservoir Campground while you're here at Rock Lake, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Boulder Mail Trail. High temperatures at Rock Lake throughout the warm months are in the 80's; the night is rather chillier of course, frequently in the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and night lows during the winter for Rock Lake tend to be in the 0's. Rock Lake is pretty       dry regularly; throughout August this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you need a place to stay Wonderland Inn is a delightful choice. A journey to Hog Ranch Spring will fill your spirit with great feelings, and there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Black Burn Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
