You get a glorious sight of Green Mountain from Red Pond, and Red Pond is a good location to visit for more than one day, Honeycomb Rock Campground is a good location to camp nearby. Not much precipitation falls here at Red Pond; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while June       is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Through the summer at Red Pond temperatures are regularly in the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Red Pond temperatures sink to the 20's. What a location this is for outdoors people. Water Canyon is near Red Pond and is a wonderful place; Enterprise Reservoir Campground is a tremendous local campground.                  This lake is so wonderful.
