Red Point Reservoir is frequently a quite dry site; through August this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. If you come at the right time of year, San Rafael River offers some great whitewater, and a nice place to go to close by is Coal Wash. This lake is so wonderful. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Hendrick Spring, and the Blue Dugway offers       hiking at its best. Cattle Country Mobile Home Campground is a wonderful campground nearby; hiking is a popular thing to do around Red Point Reservoir; Gunnison Trail is a great local trail. Stay the night at Buckboard - Manti-LaSal National Forest; why not take a refreshing hike along the Dry Wash Trail. Through the summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Red Point Reservoir, and the nighttime is fairly chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. During the                  winter the highs are frequently in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Red Point Reservoir tend to be in the 0's. Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Red Point Reservoir.
