When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 30's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for Red Point Reservoir tend to be in the 0's.       This lake is so wonderful. A nice site for whitewater paddling next to Red Point Reservoir is San Rafael River, and do put some time aside to spend at Hendrick Spring if you're here at Red Point Reservoir. Going for a hike along the Dry Wash Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; Red Point Reservoir is not the only location nearby, Oscars Pond is a nearby lake.
