If you are in Salt Lake county it's always a good idea to stop by Red Pine Lake. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Red Pine Lake. Provo River has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by, and nearby you discover great spots like Maybird Gulch. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Wasatch Range rocks! Lots of folks from Provo-Orem come to Red Pine Lake. Red Pine Lake is one of the lakes here in the Wasatch

| | Range. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Value Place American Fork is a great spot to spend a night or two; the skiing at Alta is great. Going for a hike on the Indian Trail is always a fine adventure, and camping at Mile Rock Campground is always a delightful experience. For the period of the summer highs here at Red Pine Lake reach the 90's while overnight lows are usually in the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are ordinarily in the 30's | |

with temperatures at Red Pine Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Near Red Pine Lake you stumble on the Mount Timpanogos Trail which is a fine hiking trail, and on a beautiful day you
get a magnificent sight of Little Matterhorn Peak from Red Pine Lake. Now, you may feel that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Wasatch Range. Camping is available at Warnick Campground; an interesting
thing to check out near Red Pine Lake is Red Pine Dam. At Red Pine Lake you don’t see much rain; of all the months in a year April is the one with the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. If you don't mind getting
drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Cottonwood Creek; don't forget to take a pleasant little tour to Red Pine Fork. The Lake Desolation Trail is a good hiking trail in the neighborhood of Red Pine Lake, and everybody
close by loves skiing at Solitude. And if that's not enough there's a lot more enjoyable things to do in the Wasatch Range. Residence Inn By Marriott Cottonwood Fort Union is a great site to get some rest. Lakes are glorious; Upper
Bells Canyon Reservoir is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Red Pine Lake. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Red Pine Lake. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always
have a look at nearby Tibble Fork Reservoir; California National Historic Trail is a very fine place to take a look at.
