This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Provo-Orem here, and there's always Maple Lake Dam to visit near Red Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things near Red Lake. Big Spring Creek is a pleasant local stream, and nearby The Gulch is a great place to go. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is wonderful, you obtain a magnificent sight of Dry Mountain       from Red Lake, and there are brilliant locations to discover along the Nebo Peak Trail. Not much rainfall falls here at Red Lake; the month of April is the wettest with most of the rain while July is typically the driest month. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Lakes? Sure, Maple Lake is around here, and close by you discover the Nebo Basin Trail which is a great hiking trail. Through the months of summer highs here at Red Lake reach the 80's,                  and the night is quite cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Red Lake are in the 10's. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Wasatch Range. Golf can be played at Gladstan Golf Course. Just can't get enough of the Wasatch Range. Red Lake is a fine site to visit for more than one day, Maple Bench Campground is a fine site to camp nearby, and a nice place like Kuntz Flat here at Red Lake is too magnificent to miss. And if that's not sufficient there's plenty more cool stuff to do in the Wasatch Range. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Payson is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and a visit to Big Springs will fill your soul with tremendous feelings. Stay the night at East Bay RV Park, and going for a hike on the Summit Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Dry warm beds await you at Springville Days Inn; why not head up to Sundance and strap some skis to your feet. Dry Lake Reservoir is a perfect lake close to Red Lake; get yourself into a kayak and hit Spanish Fork.
