There's no way someone can get bored here in the Uinta Mountains. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Blacks Fork - East Fork, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Bear River Smiths Fork Trail. At Red Castle Lake you always meet someone from Evanston. There's so much to do here at Red Castle Lake that you need to camp here for a while, China Meadows Campground is a magnificent location for that.       Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is plentiful here in the Uinta Mountains. While you're here at Red Castle Lake, you could also take a look at picturesque Upper Red Castle Lake, and you can observe Red Castle from Red Castle Lake. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Blacks Fork - West Fork for all you adrenaline kick people, and East Red Castle Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. If only every place had                  this much outdoors exciting things, what a great world it would be. You might want to pay a visit to Porcupine Pass if you're here at Red Castle Lake, and going for a hike on the Fish Creek National Recreation Trail is always a splendid adventure. At Red Castle Lake you don’t see much rain; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. Red Castle Lake is a beautiful lake in the Uinta Mountains. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Red Castle Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. Throughout the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Red Castle Lake.
