If you get bored of Red Butte Reservoir, you could also check out nearby Mount Olivet Reservoir, and the The Sheep Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wasatch Range. This lake is so wonderful. During the days of summer highs here at Red Butte Reservoir       reach the 90's while night lows are frequently in the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Red Butte Reservoir. And that's not all you can do here in the Wasatch Range. Red Butte Reservoir is in the vicinity of Battle Gulch which is beyond doubt worth visiting, and camping is available at Box Elder Campground - Wasatch-Cache National Forest. After a long day outdoors Chase Suite                  Hotel Salt Lake City is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and California National Historic Trail is a great place close by. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Snowbird while you're here, and it's a splendid idea to stop by Lithograph Fork. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Red Butte Reservoir. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Little Cottonwood Creek, and Baskin Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could pop by. Just can't get enough of the Wasatch Range. Playing golf is lots of fun at Mountain Dell Golf Course; this is a popular spot for people from Salt Lake City. So many fun things in the Wasatch Range, just mind-boggling. If you come at the right time of year, Big Cottonwood Creek offers some tremendous whitewater, and you can never get enough of the good skiing at Alta. Red Butte Reservoir is regularly a quite arid spot; during the month of April you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. It's always brilliant to visit Emigration Tunnel Spring; if you came for an overnight stay Bridger Lake Campground - Wasatch-Cache National Forest is a great site to camp. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Red Butte Reservoir.
