This lake is located in the wonderful Wasatch Range. This lake is so wonderful. Baskin Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and camping at Red Butte Reservoir is glorious fun, Bridger Lake Campground - Wasatch-Cache National Forest is a glorious local campground. It is very arid here at Red Butte Reservoir mostly; during April this area sees the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Hit the slopes at Alta nearby;                  hiking along the Lake Desolation Trail is tremendous fun. These mountains rock, just look at all the fun stuff to do in the Wasatch Range. Battle Gulch is a good site to visit close by, and Red Butte Reservoir is right by the The Sheep Trail. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Marriott Salt Lake City University Park is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two, and Big Cottonwood Creek is a great whitewater spot close by. During the months of summer at Red Butte Reservoir temperatures are generally in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows through the winter for Red Butte Reservoir tend to be in the 10's. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Wasatch Range. Red Butte Dam is a site that is near Red Butte Reservoir, and Emigration Tunnel Spring is always fun to check out. Yeah, come here to Red Butte Reservoir for a magnificent time. Mountain Dell Golf Course is a golf course in close proximity to Red Butte Reservoir, and you'll perhaps meet some folks from Salt Lake City here. Snowbird has delightful slopes and a friendly staff; if time allows, California National Historic Trail is a national park worth stopping at. You completely have to have a thing about the Wasatch Range.
