     Utah has many beautiful lakes and Red Belly Lake is one of them. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Red Belly Lake highs are typically in the 80's while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Red Belly Lake. That right there is a load of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Uinta Mountains has it all. A pretty lake like Blue Lake in the vicinity  
   of Red Belly Lake is a great place to have a look at, and Whiterocks Campground is a glorious local campground. Red Belly Lake is located in the Uinta Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Dry Fork Trail, and get soaked paddling on Uinta River. Why not camp at Paradise Campground since you're here at Red Belly Lake, and there are plenty of folks from Vernal here. Now, you may imagine that's a lot but there's even
 
               more enjoyable stuff to do here at Red Belly Lake. Hiking along the Uinta Highline Trail is magnificent fun, and Gabbro Pass is another tremendous location to take a look at nearby.
You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Uinta Mountains. Red Belly Lake is right by the Icy Hill Dugway. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not have a look at Twin Lakes near Red Belly Lake, and Corral Park is a great place to check out. Around Red Belly Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; May is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

Little Elk Lake
That's a pretty tough road to get there. I'd say about 4 miles in, but lots of big rocks. Great views though. We took ATV's up and it was a fairly unremarkable ride. We did see a couple of 4WD Trucks headed up too. Good scenery up top. I'd like to camp there and hang out. We didn't fish. It doesn't look really good for that....

Chepeta Lake
Chepeta is a very hit or miss lake.  Fishing can be absolutely dead one day and sweet the next.  The water was crazy low two summers ago and there may not even be a lot of fish left unless they've planted it since.  Worth the trip though -- if one lake is cold another will be hot....
