Have a splendid hiking adventure along the New Harmony Trilhead, and going for a hike along the Duncan Canyon Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. If you came to camp Blue Springs - Dixie National Forest is a tremendous site to do that; you'll meet a lot of folks from Cedar City here. During the months of summer at Quichapa Lake temperatures       are regularly in the 90's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Quichapa Lake. Camping at Deer Haven - Dixie National Forest is always a wonderful experience, and a great spot like The Bottoms here at Quichapa Lake is too great to miss. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Dry Lakes Trail, and in all probability you're looking                  for nearby lakes? Sure, Bumblebee Lake is just a very short distance away. Dry warm beds await you at Knights Inn Cedar City, and a quick trip to Duncan Creek is beyond doubt a nice idea. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. If time allows, Cedar Breaks National Monument is a national park worth visiting, and a visit to Quichapa Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Mud Springs. Quichapa Lake gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout August while June is regularly the driest month.
