Potters Ponds gets very little rainfall; all through the month of March you get the most rain around here, and June is when it's the driest. A fine site like Sheep Flat here at Potters Ponds is too tremendous to miss; Manti Motel is a good location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Get       yourself into a kayak and hit Cottonwood Creek, and you can go for a hike on the Reeder Trail. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Potters Ponds. Potters Ponds is a delightful place to visit for more than one day, Forks of Huntington Campground is a delightful place to camp nearby, also Potters Pond Number Two Dam is worth taking a look at since you're here. Get drenched paddling on Huntington Creek, and you might also want to pay a visit to Bacon                  Rind Canyon since you're here at Potters Ponds. Summertime highs at Potters Ponds ordinarily tend to be in the 80's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 40's.
