It's always fun to stop by Potter Lake. There is a perfect hiking trail right next door to Potter Lake called the Icy Hill Dugway. Lakes are splendid; Deadman Lake is a lake that's near Potter Lake. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Potter Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Potter Lake. Any time is a splendid time at Potter Lake if

| | you have a thing about the outdoors. On a magnificent day at Potter Lake you can take a hike along the Dry Fork Trail; on a lovely day you acquire a nice sight of Mount Untermann from Potter Lake.

going for a hike on the Uinta Highline Trail is always a great adventure. At Potter Lake you don’t see much rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February.
You'll really wish for
more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Uinta Mountains. If you're stopping by Potter Lake from Vernal, you won't be the only one. Potter Lake is located in the Uinta Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Brown Lake Campground is a good local campground; if you want a little side journey, try Gabbro Pass.
