Porcupine Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. A magnificent nearby hotel is Best Western Holiday Hills; hiking is a popular thing to do around Porcupine Reservoir; Smith Morehouse Trail is a magnificent local trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Camperworld Knotty Pine is a splendid place to do that, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Chalk Creek. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location.
This is a wonderful vicinity for people who like lakes. Beaver Meadow Reservoir is a lake in close proximity. There's so much to do here at Porcupine Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Smith and Morehouse Campground is a good place for that.
Porcupine Reservoir is ordinarily a reasonably dry place; most of the rain falls through April, and July meanwhile is the driest month. After a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Inn Evanston WY is a perfect

place to spend a night or two, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Notch Mountain Trail. All through the days of summer here at Porcupine Reservoir, high temperatures usually reach the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Porcupine Reservoir dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights.
Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Ball and Moore Reservoir; great hiking is available along the Union Pacific Rail Trail.
