    Pollen Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Pollen Lake is one of the lakes here in the Uinta Mountains. Throughout the long summer days at Pollen Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Pollen Lake are in the 0's. That right there is a load already, but it continues; Pollen Lake has it all.  
   A pretty lake like Blue Lake near Pollen Lake is a magnificent place to pop by, and soar down the rapids of Uinta River in a kayak.
And if that's not sufficient there's heaps more amusing things to do in the Uinta Mountains. There are plenty of people from Vernal here at Pollen Lake, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Uinta Highline Trail. Now, you may feel that's a heap but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Uinta Mountains.
 
               You'll come across a striking lake called Deadman Lake near Pollen Lake. Gabbro Pass is close to Pollen Lake and is undeniably a glorious place to stop by, and if you came for an overnight stay Paradise Campground is a pleasant place to camp.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Brown Lake Campground, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Dry Fork Trail. At Pollen Lake you can catch a sight of Mount Untermann, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Icy Hill Dugway. Pollen Lake is pretty dry usually; the wettest month of the year is regularly May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February.
