During the summertime highs here at Pilling Pond reach the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter highs are typically in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Pilling Pond plunge into the 10's. There's so much       to do here at Pilling Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Hillview RV Park Campground is a nice place for that, and after a long day outdoors Greenwell Inn & Convention Center is a perfect site to spend a night or two. Best Western Carriage House Inn is a great site to get some rest, and lots of folks from Price come here. This lake is so wonderful. There is a wonderful hiking trail next to Pilling Pond called the Gunnison Trail, and not far from                  Pilling Pond you'll locate Dugway Reservoir which is a delightful lake. At Pilling Pond you don’t see much precipitation; throughout August this area sees the most rain, and June is the month with the least moisture. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Pilling Pond has to offer, you can camp at Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry Campground. Lakes?
