Do go to East Bicknell Sand Wash Pond in the neighborhood of Petes Pond, it's a scenic lake; everybody loves Hemlock Meadow. If you came to camp Aquarius Mobile and RV Campground is a splendid place to do that, and the sight of Saddle Knoll is lovely. It is very arid here at Petes Pond typically; August is when you get the most rain here while February is mostly the driest month. A great       nearby hotel is Torrey-Days Inn Capitol Reef N.P., and since you're here, you could go to Government Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby Cottonwood Canyon is a nice spot to go if you're at Petes Pond. There's so much to do here at Petes Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Red Rock Restaurant and Campground is a delightful place for that. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Petes Pond; Jackson Dugway is a wonderful local trail. High temperatures                  at Petes Pond throughout the warmest time of the year are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are commonly in the 30's while Petes Pond overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Petes Pond. If you need a place to stay Wonderland Inn is a brilliant choice, and there's nice hiking along the Stair Trail. Paddling on Fremont River is so much fun, and while you're here, you could also explore beautiful West Bicknell Pond.
