Long Flat is a good site to stretch your legs a bit, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Ferron Creek. Hiking along the Dairy Trail is great fun, and if you come at the right time of year, Cottonwood Creek offers some nice whitewater.                  It is very dried out here at Petes Hole Reservoir frequently; most of the rain falls during September; June on the other hand is the driest. While staying at Petes Hole Reservoir you could always discover Cox Canyon; you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the CCC Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Petes Hole Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Willow Lake Campground; do take a hike on the Reeder Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
