At Payson Lakes you don’t see much rainfall; most of the rain falls during April, and the driest month of the year is July. A magnificent place near Payson Lakes is Mud Hollow, and you can go for a hike on the
Summit Trail. So many cool things in the Wasatch Range, just mind-boggling. Get soaked paddling on Spanish Fork; naturally, this is a wonderful area for people who like lakes, Pete Winward Reservoir is a lake in the vicinity.
Having a delightful time at Payson Lakes is simple. Good hiking is available along the Nebo Basin Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Payson Lakes; Nebo Peak Trail is a perfect local trail, and
a round of golf at nearby Gladstan Golf Course is a good way to kill some time. High temperatures at Payson Lakes through the long summer days are in the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are mostly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Payson Lakes.
