After a long day outdoors Best Western Inn is a brilliant site to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Paradise Park Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Paradise Campground is a brilliant place for that. Lakes are glorious; Mill Pond is a lake that's right next door to Paradise Park Reservoir. Paradise Park Dam is a site that is near Paradise Park Reservoir, and a pleasant journey to Lost Park is a great way to spend an afternoon. Now, you may believe that's heaps but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Paradise Park Reservoir. | |

This is a delightful region for folks who like lakes. Dead Lake is a lake close by, and Paradise Park Reservoir is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Whiterocks Campground is a wonderful local campground. The Uinta Mountains
scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Uinta River in close proximity to Paradise Park Reservoir, and there is a tremendous hiking trail close by called the Uinta Highline Trail. Yep,
outdoors fun stuff truly is plentiful here in the Uinta Mountains. On a good day at Paradise Park Reservoir you can take a hike along the Icy Hill Dugway, and Hen Lee Bench is something you shouldn't miss while you're here. While
you're here at Paradise Park Reservoir you can take a hike along the Dry Fork Trail, and you'll most likely meet some people from Vernal here. Throughout the summer months, highs usually are in the 80's at Paradise Park Reservoir.
When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Paradise Park Reservoir tend to be in the 0's.

Little Elk Lake
 | That's a pretty tough road to get there. I'd say about 4 miles in, but lots of big rocks. Great views though. We took ATV's up and it was a fairly unremarkable ride. We did see a couple of 4WD Trucks headed up too. Good scenery up top. I'd like to camp there and hang out. We didn't fish. It doesn't look really good for that.... |
Chepeta Lake
 | Chepeta is a very hit or miss lake. Fishing can be absolutely dead one day and sweet the next. The water was crazy low two summers ago and there may not even be a lot of fish left unless they've planted it since. Worth the trip though -- if one lake is cold another will be hot.... |
