This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Red Stone Inn, and do go to Mud Lake, it's a beautiful lake. Pace Lake is a location that is quite waterless usually; October is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Throughout the long summer days, highs usually are in the 90's at Pace Lake with nighttime lows in the 60's.       Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Pace Lake through the wintertime generally drop into the 10's. Camping is available at Buckeye Campground, and float down the rapids of Dolores River in a kayak. Why not camp at Oowah Campground while you're here at Pace Lake, and if you're here, you could also explore wonderful Buckeye Reservoir. That right there is a lot already, but it carries on; Pace Lake has it all.
