The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Pace Lake, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Pace Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Oowah Campground is a magnificent place to camp. Lakes? Sure, Mud Lake is around here. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but       if it's for you then we recommend Dolores River; dry warm beds await you at Red Stone Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Buckeye Campground since you're here at Pace Lake, and why not stop by Pace Dam if you're here. There are other locations here than Pace Lake, for example Buckeye Reservoir; Kirks Basin is a brilliant place here at Pace Lake. Yeah, come here to Pace Lake for a great time. The Snowshoe Trail is a great hiking trail right                  next door to Pace Lake, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Radium Trail.
