After a long day outdoors SUPER 8 MOTEL - PRICE is a great spot to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Oscars Pond mostly tend to be in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Oscars Pond are in the 0's. What a location this is for outdoors folks. There's great hiking along the Dry Wash Trail,       and you can stay the night at Cattle Country Mobile Home Campground. Oscars Pond gets very little precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Oscars Pond without first going for a hike along the Gunnison Trail; get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Ferron Creek.
