It is very dehydrated here at Nick Reservoir frequently; the month with most of the rain is April; July is when it's the driest. Wasatch Range. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Wasatch Range. Nearby Green Fork New Canyon is a tremendous site to go if you're at Nick Reservoir, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Nick Reservoir; Limber Pine Trail
is a good local trail. Summertime highs at Nick Reservoir regularly tend to be in the 90's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's; winter nights come with lows
in the 10's to Nick Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Crystal Inn Logan is a good choice. Nebeker Spring is always fun to check out, and Logan River is a magnificent whitewater spot nearby.

 | 14 miles away The Limber Pine trail is more of a nature walk than a hike. It's good for kids and those seeking an easy, short trail. Educational posting about flora, etc. are included around this loop trail. It's fun, too, even if you are a serious hiker. I think I could complete the loop in 15 minutes, but one posting I saw said 45 minutes. Walk it and find out. Easy access right off the road.... |
