Logan River is a delightful whitewater spot close to Nick Reservoir, and you can stay the night at Little Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Blacksmith Fork near Nick Reservoir, and you can go for a hike on the Limber Pine Trail. Summertime highs at Nick Reservoir regularly tend to be in the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of       the winter highs are mostly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Nick Reservoir are in the 10's. Nick Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Wasatch Range. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Wasatch Range. After a long day outdoors Crystal Inn Logan is a great place to spend a night or two, and there are great spots to discover along the Hardware Ranch Trail.
