If you are in Iron county it's always a good idea to stop by Newcastle Reservoir. A good location to camp here at Newcastle Reservoir is Pine Lake - Dixie National Forest, and there's some flowing water close by, Little Pinto Creek is a stream you can take a look at while here. At Newcastle Reservoir you always meet someone from Cedar City; if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Whiterocks Trail. For the duration of the warm months here

This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Big Hollow Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and an interesting thing to check out near Newcastle Reservoir is Newcastle Dam.
