You need to have a look at Flat Iron Point while you're here at New Canyon Reservoir, and there's whitewater on Ferron Creek for all you thrill seekers. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Camperworld Private Campground is a great spot to camp, and if the weather is perfect, you       can go for a hike along the Dairy Trail. Lakes are nice; John August Lake is a lake that's near New Canyon Reservoir. At New Canyon Reservoir you can distinguish Dusterburgs Hill, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Harmon Trail. Why not camp at Camp Discovery while you're here at New Canyon Reservoir, and do put some time aside to spend at The Big Spring since you're here at New Canyon Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site                  to stay Willow Creek Inn is a splendid choice; not far from New Canyon Reservoir you'll discover Loggers Fork Reservoir which is a beautiful lake. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to New Canyon Reservoir, and the night is fairly cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at New Canyon Reservoir plunge into the 10's. Not much rainfall falls here at New Canyon Reservoir; the wettest month of the year is usually March, that's the one that rains the most, and July is the month with the least moisture. Having a brilliant time at New Canyon Reservoir is easy.
