Nephi Pond is pretty dry regularly; May is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff close to Nephi Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Inn, and magnificent hiking is available along the Dry Fork Trail. Throughout the summer here at Nephi Pond, high temperatures usually get into the 80's while overnight lows are regularly       in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Nephi Pond. Just can't get enough of the Uinta Mountains. East Cart Hollow is in the vicinity of Nephi Pond and is positively a great site to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Uinta River offers some glorious whitewater, and getting to Pole Creek from Nephi Pond is simple. The Uinta Mountains scenery is always beautiful.                  Hiking is a popular thing to do around Nephi Pond; Shale Dugway is a glorious local trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Whiterocks Campground is a great location to camp. And that's not all you can do here in the Uinta Mountains. Uinta Canyon Campground is a pleasant campground here, and a short tour to Beaver Spring is always worthwhile.
