Mud Lake is pretty arid typically; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain; January is when it's the driest. Any time is a nice time at Mud Lake if you fancy the outdoors. Mud Lake is near Nielsen Canyon which is definitely worth checking out; a glorious nearby hotel is Quality Inn Richfield. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Mud Lake you can       take a hike along the Koosharem Guard Station Scrub Flat Trail, and you have to undeniably dedicate some time to Devils Castle Flat if you're here at Mud Lake. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Mud Lake. A trip to Sawmill Spring will fill your soul with magnificent feelings. Not far from Mud Lake, you'll locate Washburn Reservoir which is a beautiful lake, and what would a spot like Mud Lake be without attention-grabbing close by traits                  like Devils Castle. If the weather is pleasant here at Mud Lake, you can go for a hike along the Second Lefthand Fork Trail, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites RICHFIELD is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Scrub Flat Reservoir; the Third Lefthand Fork Trail is a nice hiking trail close by.
