    If you are in this part of Utah make sure to pay a visit to Mud Lake. You can take a little journey to Blue Lake Dam if you're here at Mud Lake, and swing by Blue Lake Creek it's a great location to explore. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Butch Cassidy Inn; there's wonderful hiking along the Pipeline Trail. Mahogany Cove Campground is a good local campground, and don't leave Mud Lake without first going for a hike along the Bullion  
   Trail.
You'll stumble on a wonderful lake called Twin Lakes near Mud Lake, and the Tushar Mountains is a major highlight of the region nearby. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Elk Meadows is in the vicinity of Mud Lake, and Big John Flat is a good location. Around Mud Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is June.

               not all you can do here at Mud Lake. A glorious place for whitewater paddling near Mud Lake is Sevier River, and lakes are such serene spots, why not have a look at Blue Lake. This lake is so wonderful. City Creek Campground is a fine campground nearby, and you can run the rapids of Clear Creek. Beaver-Days Inn is a delightful location to get some rest, and on a beautiful day you acquire a great panorama of Shelly Baldy Peak from Mud Lake.
That right there is heaps already, but it continues; Mud Lake has it all. Good hiking is available along the Tushar Trail. Summertime highs at Mud Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are usually in the 40's, and overnight lows at Mud Lake during the wintertime typically sink into the 10's.
