The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Mud Lake. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Mud Lake. Mud Lake is pretty arid mostly; August is the month that gets the most rain while June is commonly the driest month. Hi Low Lake is a glorious lake right next door to Mud Lake, and if you came for an overnight       stay Little Reservoir Campground is a fine location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Butch Cassidy Inn, and you can go for a hike on the Pipeline Trail. Going for a hike on the Bullion Trail is always a perfect adventure; if you need a location to stay Beaver-Days Inn is a brilliant choice. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area near Mud Lake has to                  offer. Lakes? Sure, Little Reservoir is close by; places like Horse Flat are perfect to go to. There is a pleasant hiking trail near Mud Lake called the Copes Dugway, and camping is available at Little Cottonwood Campground.
