If you like lakes and you're in this part of Utah you can check out Mountain Dell Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Cottonwood Creek; why not take a refreshing hike along the Mount Timpanogos Trail. Mountain Dell Reservoir is commonly a reasonably dehydrated place; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily April, that's the one that rains the most while July is the

| | month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Mountain Dell Reservoir; The Sheep Trail is a brilliant local trail; of course, all our national parks are splendid locations to pop by and California National Historic Trail is no exception. Mountain Dell Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Wasatch Range. A tour to Brigham Fork is always fun, and you can stay the night at Maple Cove Campground. | |

That right there is a load already, but it continues; Mountain Dell Reservoir has it all. After a long day outdoors Country Club Inn & Suites is a nice place to spend a night or two; Mountain Dell Reservoir is a great place to camp,
Terrace Campground is a great place. Now, you may imagine that's plenty but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Wasatch Range. An out of the ordinary thing to stop at close to Mountain Dell Reservoir is Mountain
Dell Dam, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Alta. And if that's not sufficient there's a lot more amusing things to do in the Wasatch Range. The Lake Desolation Trail offers hiking at its best, and a glorious
nearby hotel is Royal Scottsmen at Pinecrest. Solitude has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff, and there are plenty of folks from Salt Lake City here at Mountain Dell Reservoir. This is no spot for people who don’t like to
have a good time. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Mountain Dell Reservoir. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and after
the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Mountain Dell Reservoir descend into the 10's. Some of the water close by flows, like Alexander Creek, and East Canyon Creek has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby.
