Do stop by Morris Reservoir while you're in this part of Utah. If you need a place to stay Carlton Hotel is a magnificent choice, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Salt Lake City here. This lake is so wonderful. Big Cottonwood Creek has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by; the top of Ensign Peak is easily spotted from Morris Reservoir. Getting to City Creek from Morris Reservoir is easy, and close by City Creek Canyon is a great place to go.

Skiing at Alta is one of those things you just have to do, and a magnificent site to camp here at Morris Reservoir is Anderson Cove - Wasatch-Cache National Forest. Summertime brings highs in
the 90's to Morris Reservoir. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Morris Reservoir. Life's too short to enjoy all the
fun stuff right next door to Morris Reservoir. Camping at Albion Basin - Wasatch-Cache National Forest is always a nice experience.
If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Cottonwood Creek,
and do have a look at Pleasant Valley Reservoir, it's a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Ellerbeck Mansion, and a round of golf at nearby Forest Dale Golf Course is a tremendous way to kill some time.
