A brilliant close by hotel is Comfort Inn Beaver, and hiking along the       Rattlesnake Trail is good fun. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Morris Pond has to offer, you can camp at Minersville State Park; you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Copes Dugway. You absolutely have to go for Morris Pond. A cool spot to explore in close proximity to Morris Pond is Greenville Bench. Through the summertime at Morris Pond temperatures are regularly in the 90's, and the nighttime is a bit chillier of course,                  generally in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Morris Pond fall into the 10's.
