At Morris Pond during the days of summer highs are in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Morris Pond all through the wintertime typically drop into the 10's. Don't leave Morris Pond without first checking out Greenville Bench;       you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Copes Dugway. Quality Inn Beaver is a fine spot to get some rest, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Elk Meadows. If you get bored of Morris Pond, you could also go to close by CCC Pond, and obviously Big Slough is a picturesque stream that is worth a visit. Morris Pond is pretty dried out mostly; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and June meanwhile                  is the driest month. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. If you came for an overnight stay Minersville State Park is a delightful place to camp; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites.
