Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Morrell Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Capitol Reef Resort, and do stop at Meeks Lake, it's a charming lake. Camping is available at Elk Campground, and there's wonderful hiking along the Meadow Gulch Salt Gulch Trail.       Why not take a refreshing hike along the Jackson Dugway, and going to Capitol Reef National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. For the period of the days of summer highs here at Morrell Pond reach the 90's, and the night is slightly colder of course, usually in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Morrell Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
