Moonshine Waterhole is pretty dry regularly; September is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful. Moonshine Waterhole is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Green River Koa Kampground is a pleasant local campground, and       Moonshine Waterhole is not the only location nearby, Big Hole is a nearby lake. A good place to camp here at Moonshine Waterhole is Cedar Mountain Campground; if you've had enough of Moonshine Waterhole, Big Hole Pond is nearby. During the summer months here at Moonshine Waterhole, high temperatures usually reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's while Moonshine                  Waterhole night low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.
