Many people like to go to Monticello Lake. This lake is so wonderful. North Canyon is a good spot to go to nearby, and the view of Horsehead Peak is stunning. This lake is so wonderful. Near Monticello Lake you come across the Delicate Arch Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and you can stay the night at Dalton Spring Campground.

If you need a place to stay Monticello-Days Inn is a good choice; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the The Race Track. Rodeway Inn & Suites is a nice place to get some rest, and if time allows, Arches National Park is a national park worth a visit.
