This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Skyline National Recreation Trail, and if you need a place to stay Days Inn Beaver is a pleasant choice. What a spot this is for outdoors people. Mirror Lake is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, City Creek Campground is a wonderful       site to camp nearby; a splendid panorama of picturesque City Creek Peak is available. Beetle Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting, and a journey to Big Flat rejuvenates the spirit. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Tushar Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and you can stay the night at Kents Lake Campground. Lakes are such serene spots, why not pop by Puffer Lake in the vicinity of Mirror                  Lake; Elk Meadows is a very popular ski area nearby. Mirror Lake gets very little precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally August, that's the one that rains the most, and June meanwhile is the driest month. Very great water scenery is available at Puffer Lake Dam close to Mirror Lake; there's whitewater on Sevier River for all you adrenaline people. Mirror Lake really is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Hiking along the Bullion Trail is great fun, and there are other places here than Mirror Lake, for example Otter Lake. Through the warm months at Mirror Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's.
