Go for a hike on the Indian Trail, and a great site to camp here at Mima Lake is Oak Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Fremont River; Oak Creek Dam is a pretty site, definitely worth checking out. The warmest time of the year at Mima Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the       30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Mima Lake. A pleasant journey to Bear Flat is a fine way to spend an afternoon, and Long Draw is also a good place to look at. Good hiking is available along the Aquarius Trail, and camping is available at Pleasant Creek Campground. Mima Lake is a location that is rather waterless typically; during the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount                  of precipitation. This place, Mima Lake, it just has so much outdoors cool stuff. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Mima Lake; Stair Trail is a tremendous local trail, and Cactus Hills Ranch Motel is a splendid place to get some rest. Dry warm beds await you at Pine Shadows Bungalows, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Meeks Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
