Now, you may think that's loads but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Uinta Mountains. There are good locations to explore along the Fish Creek National Recreation Trail, and Yellowstone River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Milk Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here
at Milk Lake. Good hiking is available along the Shale Dugway; Milk Lake is near Bluebell Pass which is absolutely worth checking out.
Not much rain falls here at Milk Lake; most of the rain falls during September; the driest month is March. The Uinta Mountains scenery is always beautiful. And if that's not sufficient there's plenty more cool things to do in the Uinta Mountains. Milk Lake Dam is a spot that is near Milk Lake; don't leave Milk Lake without

first going for a hike along the High Line Trail.
Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Lake Fork, and Swift Creek Campground is a good campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Kings Lake is close by, and Milk Lake is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Riverview Campground is a fine place to camp nearby. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Milk Lake. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Farmers Lake, and Milk Lake is not far at all from Evanston.
This lake is so wonderful.
