In Utah there are many beautiful lakes, Milk Lake is one of them. This lake is one of the great places here in the Uinta Mountains. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things truly is abundant here in the Uinta Mountains. Milk Lake Dam is a lovely location next to Milk Lake, and at Milk Lake you always meet someone from Evanston. Good hiking is available along the High Line Trail, and a lake nearby is Farmers Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Fork has a great whitewater

| | paddling spot close by, and Milk Lake is a great location to visit for more than one day, Swift Creek Campground is a great location to camp nearby. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do in the neighborhood of Milk Lake. Go for a hike on the Fish Creek National Recreation Trail, and if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yellowstone River. This lake is so wonderful. get bored here in the Uinta Mountains. Stay the night at Riverview Campground, and Milk Lake is not the only site nearby, Kings Lake is a nearby lake. Milk Lake gets very little rainfall; during September this area sees the most rain,
and March is when it's the driest. Summertime highs at Milk Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down
through the wintertime temperatures at Milk Lake fall into the 0's. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Milk Lake; Shale Dugway is a magnificent local trail, and if you wish for a little side trip, try Bluebell Pass.

 | Nice lake, tough hike, and windy. Fished in late July, fishing was fair, but the size of the fish were between 14-19 inches. Wind was really blowing the day I fished here.... |
