This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend nearby Wasatch Mountain State Park Golf Course, and a day on the slopes of Park City Mountain Resort is just what you need. Summer brings highs in the 90's to       Midway Reservoir. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Midway Reservoir temperatures descend to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Bald Mountain is stunning and can be seen from Midway Reservoir, and a perfect nearby hotel is Goldener Hirsch Inn. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Wasatch Range.                  A journey to Bonanza Flat revives the soul; the skiing at The Canyons is great. So much fun stuff in the Wasatch Range, just inspiring. Deer Creek is a good campground here, and Midway Reservoir is right by the Lake Desolation Trail. The amount of rain that falls at Midway Reservoir is close to the national average; during April this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is July. Float down the rapids of Provo River in a kayak. If you need a place to stay Stein Ericksen Lodge is a splendid choice, and paddling on East Canyon Creek is so much fun.
