Meeks Lake is a location that is pretty dried out regularly; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and June on the other hand is the driest. And that's not all you can do here at Meeks Lake. If the weather is splendid here at Meeks Lake, you can go for a hike along the Jackson Dugway, and a       trip to Capitol Reef National Park is recommended. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Farrell Pond; if you need a site to stay Best Western Capitol Reef Resort is a great choice. If you get bored of Meeks Lake, you could also go to close by Floating Island Lake. There's so much to do here at Meeks Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Elkhorn Campground is a fine place for that. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Meeks Lake. When the                  night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 30's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Meeks Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Meadow Gulch Salt Gulch Trail, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Great Western Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
