This lake is so wonderful. Long Draw is a wonderful location to check out close       by, and if you need a site to stay Torrey-Days Inn Capitol Reef N.P. is a tremendous choice. High temperatures at Meeks Lake during the summertime are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Meeks Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Meeks Lake is a location that is quite dried out generally; August is the wettest month                  with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Going for a hike along the Indian Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and Fremont River is a brilliant whitewater spot nearby. The Stair Trail is a fine hiking trail in close proximity to Meeks Lake, and Oak Creek Campground is a tremendous local campground.
