There's just no way someone can get bored here at Medicine Lakes. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Dolores River, and camping at Warner Campground is always a brilliant experience. It is very dry here at Medicine Lakes usually; the month with most of the rain is October, and February is the month with the least moisture. If you need a place to stay The Rustic Inn Motel is a       perfect choice, and Arches National Park is a good local destination. The summit of Mount Peale can be seen from Medicine Lakes, and Medicine Lakes is not the only place close by, Beaver Lake is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious close by hotel is Red Stone Inn, and the landscape is dominated by the La Sal Mountains. At Medicine Lakes through the days of summer highs are in the 90's with night lows in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to                  the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Medicine Lakes.
