Go to McKune Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. McKune Lake gets very little rainfall; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is March. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are really plentiful here at McKune Lake. Best Western Inn is a good place to get some rest, and everyone loves Seventyseven Flat. There's whitewater on Yellowstone River for all you adrenaline people, and do take a hike on the Shale Dugway.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Do explore Mud Spring Reservoir Number 3 in the neighborhood of McKune Lake, it's a lovely lake. Cow Canyon is a delightful site to look at; McKune Lake is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Yellowstone Bridge Campground is a splendid place to camp nearby. also have a look at striking Timothy Creek Reservoir. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Uinta Mountains. You can run the rapids of Lake Fork in the neighborhood of McKune Lake; McKune
Lake is right by the Fish Creek National Recreation Trail. For the duration of the summertime at McKune Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. Throughout
the winter highs are in the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at McKune Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. An out of the ordinary thing to visit next to McKune Lake is Yellowstone Power Diversion
Dam, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Burnt Mill Spring. McKune Lake is one of the lakes here in the Uinta Mountains.
