McGath Lake is a location that is pretty arid typically; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is February. Summertime highs at McGath Lake generally tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to McGath Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Have a splendid hiking       adventure along the Aquarius Trail, and a glorious spot close by is Boulder Swale. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Boulder Mail Trail, and Boulder Mountain Lodge is a great location to get some rest. Lakes? Sure, Black Lake is close by, and do take a hike on the Pollywog Lake Trail. Camping at Triple S RV Park is always a delightful experience, and Basin Flats is a good place to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to stop at South                  Point if you're here at McGath Lake, and why not explore nearby Grimes Creek while you're here at McGath Lake. That right there is loads already, but it continues; McGath Lake has it all.
