Summertime at McGath Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's while McGath Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. McGath Lake is generally a rather waterless spot; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so       wonderful. If you need a place to stay Days Inn Torrey - Capital Reef is a brilliant choice. You'll need more than a day to look at everything McGath Lake has to offer, you can camp at Triple S RV Park, and magnificent hiking is available along the Boulder Mail Trail. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at McGath Lake, you could also pop by beautiful Black Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around McGath Lake; Pollywog Lake Trail is a great                  local trail. While you're here at McGath Lake you have to check out South Point, and you can stay the night at Blue Spruce Campground. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great planet it would be.
