You'll need more than a day to explore everything McGath Lake has to offer, you can camp at Blue Spruce Campground; if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Pollywog Lake Trail. A splendid place to go to right next door to McGath Lake is Boulder Swale, and Wonderland Inn is a delightful spot to get some rest. Grimes Creek is a stream that you may encounter while       here, and the Aquarius Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. At McGath Lake you don’t see much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August while February is mostly the driest month. If you adore the outdoors, you'll adore McGath Lake. There's so much to do here at McGath Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Triple S RV Park is a splendid spot for that, and places like Basin Flats are glorious to have a look at.
