Dry warm beds await you at New Bryce Inn And Cafe; if you're interested in hydro structures, you can explore McDonald Lake Dam. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Le Vanger Lakes, and there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Bristlecone Loop Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave McDonald Lake without first checking out       Castle Rock, and unsurprisingly Minnie Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth visiting. Cub Spring is an inspiring place to check out while here, and if you need a place to stay Smith Hotel Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful choice. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff near McDonald Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. Lakes are brilliant; Castle Creek Reservoir is a lake that's right next door to McDonald Lake, and the Spruce Trail is a great hiking                  trail nearby. Really tremendous skiing awaits you at Brian Head. You'll need more than a day to explore everything McDonald Lake has to offer, you can camp at L and L. During the days of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at McDonald Lake; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are mostly in the 40's while the cold winter nights at McDonald Lake are in the 10's. If the weather is brilliant here at McDonald Lake, you can go for a hike along the Agua Canyon Connecting Trail. If you crave a little side visit, try Gravel Pass. There's so much to do here at McDonald Lake that you need to camp here for a while, MT. Ridge Motel and RV Park is a delightful location for that.
