This place, the Uinta Mountains, has so much outdoors cool stuff. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Little Hole Trail, and close by you discover Betts Cove which is a tremendous spot to check out. So many exciting things to do in the Uinta Mountains, not enough time. Take a hike on the Red Rock Nature Trail, and a glorious place to camp here at Matt Warner Reservoir is Red Creek       Campground. At Matt Warner Reservoir you don’t see much rain; the month of April is the wettest with most of the rain; January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Matt Warner Reservoir; Lowline Trail is a perfect local trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Green River offers some great whitewater. Matt Warner Reservoir is magnificent enough to spend more than                  a day at, Little Hotel Campground is a magnificent local campground, and a striking lake like Crouse Reservoir is a great place to have a look at. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Downtown, and Zelph Calder Reservoir is a great lake nearby. This lake is located in the wonderful Uinta Mountains. If only every location had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great globe it would be. Take a side trip to Cow Creek, and Matt Warner Dam is a delightful place, absolutely worth a visit. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Matt Warner Reservoir. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's.
