While you're here at Marys Lake, you could also stop at picturesque Grass Flat Reservoir, and soar down the rapids of Cottonwood Creek in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Ferron Canyon Campground; Manti Motel is a tremendous site to get some rest. It is very dried up here at Marys Lake mostly; during the month of March you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is June.

Seely Creek Campground is a fine campground nearby; if you come at the right time of year, Ferron Creek offers some pleasant whitewater. Summertime at Marys Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the nighttime is slightly chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. You'll hit upon a scenic lake called Slide Lake near Marys Lake; the top of Josephite Point is easily spotted from Marys Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Reeder Trail offers hiking at its best,
and it's a wonderful idea to pop by North Fork Swasey Creek. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Marys Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the CCC Trail; what would a spot like Marys Lake be without out of the ordinary nearby traits like Water Terrace.
