Dry warm beds await you at Basin Drive Inn, and hiking along the Reeder Trail is brilliant fun. The panorama of charming Josephite Point near Marys Lake is glorious. There's so much to do here at Marys Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ferron Canyon Campground is a pleasant location for that. If you come at the right time of year, Cottonwood Creek offers some splendid whitewater; hey, North Fork Swasey Creek       is a great local stream. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. After a long day outdoors Gilly's Inn & Convenience Str. is a great location to spend a night or two; do take a hike on the Dairy Trail. High temperatures at Marys Lake throughout the summertime are in the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Marys Lake. Don't leave Marys Lake without first checking                  out Water Terrace, and you can stay the night at Seely Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Ferron Creek, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the CCC Trail.
